OUR STORY
From where we started to what we are building
Kambeta Farms was established from a practical understanding of Tanzania’s agricultural landscape and the opportunities that exist when the different parts of the value chain work together.
We believe rural farmers are at the heart of agricultural growth. Farmers need access to appropriate finance and agricultural inputs, practical production support, and markets where their produce can create real economic value. At the same time, commercial customers need dependable access to quality agricultural products.
Our journey therefore goes beyond farming alone. We are building an agricultural enterprise that brings together finance, production, aggregation, sourcing and markets—creating stronger connections between farmers and customers while developing commercially viable agricultural value chains.
Starting with Irish potatoes and yellow beans, we are progressively expanding our production and supply capacity as market opportunities develop.

Our current production focus is Irish potatoes and yellow beans, supported by appropriate agricultural inputs, practical production management and a strong focus on market requirements.
Kambeta Farms maintains its own farming operations as a core part of our business. Through our own production, we develop practical farming experience, test approaches in real field conditions and build a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing agricultural producers.
